As part of our rebranding to Lasernet Group, the knowledge base will be moving to https://kb.lasernetgroup.com. At the same time, we will be upgrading the knowledge base so that we can introduce new features now and in the future.

This article provides information about the move and about the new features that the upgrade will deliver.

These changes are currently scheduled for Thursday 11th June.

Knowledge Base Move

The knowledge base will move to https://kb.lasernetgroup.com on Thursday 11th June. On that day, a news article here on the Lasernet Support Portal will announce when the move is complete.

After the announcement, you should be able to access the knowledge base at its new URL immediately. However, you might experience sporadic access issues over the course of the day.

On 11th June, please update your bookmarks for knowledge base pages. Although forwarding for current knowledge base URLs will be put in place, it could take up to 24 hours for that to take effect. As a result, you might experience temporary access issues on 11th/12th June if you follow links to the KB at its current URL.

New Knowledge Base Features

The knowledge base upgrade delivers the following new features, which will be available to you after Thursday 11th June.

Subscribe to Updates

The Follow feature enables you to receive email notifications when an individual page, or any page in a specific area of the knowledge base, is updated. To subscribe, click Follow on any page or navigation category in the knowledge base. To unsubscribe, click the link in the subscription emails you receive.

Audio Readout

The Listen feature reads the content of a knowledge base page to you.

WCAG 2.1 Compliance

WCAG 2.1 compliance ensures that access to the knowledge base is inclusive and that its content is available to all. This includes support for multiple methods of using the site (such as keyboard-based navigation), support for assistive technologies (such as screen readers), and providing text alternatives for non-text content such as images.

Please note that the email address for sending us feedback on knowledge base content is now knowledgebase.feedback@lasernetgroup.com. This change is live now.
